Abstract— In this paper; a novel design of Quasi Fractal Patch Antenna is presented. It is a compact design of 12.5×16.5 mm2 area on FR4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 , thickness of 1.6 mm and fed by a coaxial feed technique. Microstrip patch antenna consists of a quasi fractal patch with L- shaped meandered lines to provide multiband operations. The proposed antenna resonates at four different frequencies 5.78GHz, 9.13GHz, 9.72GHz and 11.3GHz with high return loss of -17.01dB, -17 dB ,-14.45dB and -32.49dB respectively with satisfactory radiation properties. The antenna operated in quad band, viz. 5.7-5.9 GHz with percentage bandwidth of 3.633% at 9-9.3 GHz with percentage bandwidth of 2.12%, at 9.6-9.9 GHz with percentage bandwidth of 4%, and 11-11.5 GHz with percentage bandwidth of 7.2% .The parameters that affect the performance of the antenna in terms of its frequency domain characteristics are investigated. The antenna design has been simulated on IE3D, an electromagnetic (EM) simulation software tool. This antenna is good for mobile and wireless applications.

Abstract— Photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) are other type of optical fibers. Photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) are formed with an internal periodic holes structured, laid to form of square, rectangular and hexagonal lattice. In this paper, hybrid rings hexagonal lattic PCF with circular and elliptical (with various angles) air holes has designed and shifted of Nil dispersion wavelengths to higher wavelength range with changing in elliptical air holes angles. Here chalcogenide glass is used as like a core material because chalcogenide glass erects a large IR wavelength. In this design we will achieve zero dispersion wavelengths. When we make the hybrid elliptical air holes and change the air holes angles (horizontal to vertical side), dispersion is decreased.

It is a compact design of radius 30 mm on duroid substrate with dielectric constant of 2.33, thickness of 1.6 mm and fed by a coaxial feed technique. The proposed antenna resonates at 1.88 GHz return loss of -17.16dB with satisfactory radiation properties. The parameters that affect the performance of the antenna in terms of its frequency domain characteristics are investigated. The antenna design has been simulated on IE3D, an electromagnetic (EM) simulation software tool. This antenna is good for mobile and wireless applications.

Abstract—. The microstrip antenna is the most popular configuration and is very easy to analyze. This paper presents a small-sized, low-profile Integrated Aperture shaped multi-application microstrip antenna. The antenna exhibits a single -band operation covering 2GHz to 4GHz frequency band useful for China Digital Multimedia Broadcast (CDMB) /Wireless Broadband(WiBro)/Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN)/ China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) Bands . It is fed by a microstrip line and built on a FR-4 substrate with 30 X 30 mm2 surface area. The impedance, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio(VSWR), radiation response , etc. properties of the antenna are studied both theoretically and experimentally. The antenna shows omnidirectional radiation patterns. The calculated and measured results agree well.
